Once there was a Bhaalspawn bard, destined to play his violin while he danced with the blood of all the world on his lily-white feet. A murderous prince who lived only for ravenous, depraved pleasure and served his father in the form of great gouts of blood and gore. He was called The Last Dance of the Dying World.
But he has no idea about any of that, waking up instead with a brain full of holes and a lifetime of disturbing memories and impulses that surface without warning or context. He calls himself Valentine, for want of a real name.
